Bhavnagar Metro – Information & Updates

Bhavnagar Metro project is a mass rapid transit system (MRTS) proposed to be built in Bhavnagar, Gujarat by Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC).

Bhavnagar Metro’s Detailed Project Report (DPR) is being prepared by SYSTRA since September 2021 to determine its feasibility and size – whether to build as a Light Rail Transit “Metro-Lite” or bus-based “MetroNeo” system. When ready, the DPR will be sent for approval to the Government of Gujarat and then Government of India.
