Jalna – Nanded Expressway – Information & Status
179 km Jalna – Nanded Expressway by MSRDC is a proposed 4 lane access-controlled highway with a route alignment in central Maharashtra.
This greenfield expressway’s Detailed Project Report (DPR) was prepared in 2021 and land acquisition in 87 villages started in December 2021.
The expressway will be connected to the under construction 701 km Samruddhi Mahamarg (Mumbai – Nagpur Expressway) and reduce the travel time between Nanded and Mumbai to six hours from 10 hours.

Land acquisition for the project stared in December 2021. As of February 2022, 77% of joint measurement survey (JMS) had been completed in 67 /87 villages along the route. Tenders for construction have not yet been invited.
