Nagpur – Gadchiroli Expressway – Information & Status
156 km Nagpur – Gadchiroli Expressway by MSRDC is an approved 4 lane access-controlled highway with a route alignment connecting Bhandara – Gadchiroli in eastern Maharashtra.
This greenfield expressway’s Detailed Project Report (DPR) is not available online. Land acquisition for its construction started in 2023.
Nagpur – Gadchiroli Expressway will start in Nagpur and essentially act as an extension of the under construction 701 km Samruddhi Mahamarg (Mumbai – Nagpur Expressway).
The expressway is expected to reduce travel time between Nagpur and Gadchiroli to about 2 hours from the current 4-5 hour journey.

Current Status
In February 2022, MSRDC invited bids for the appointment of a consultant for the preparation of a Feasibility Study Report, Detailed Project Report DPR and Pre Tender Activities (Package III)
In February 2024, MSRDC invited bids for the construction of its first civil package with a 2.5 year deadline.
