Ayodhya Ram Mandir – Information & Updates

Shri Ram Mandir is a Hindu temple under construction in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India, at the site of Ram Janmabhoomi by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra trust.

The temple’s Pran Pratishtha (consecration) ceremony took place on January 22, 2024. This marked the official inauguration and opening of Ram Mandir.

Construction on Ram Mandir started on August 5, 2020 after a Bhoomi Poojan ceremony. The project’s civil construction contractor is Larsen & Toubro (L&T) and its Project Management Consultant (PMC) is Tata Consulting Engineers (TCE).

Ram Mandir’s chief architect is Chandrakant Sompura, while Arun Yogiraj is the chief sculptor of Ram Lalla idol. The entire project is planned to be completed in December 2024, the official deadline.
