Ballari Airport – Status, Master Plan & Design
Ballari (Bellary) Airport, officially known as Sri Krishnadevaraya Airport, is an under construction greenfield airport in Chaganur and Sirivaram villages of Karnataka by Airports Authority of India (AAI).
The new airport will feature a passenger terminal building, aircraft apron, singular 3.2 km runway and car parking facilities. It was originally designed to operate small ATR-72-600 type aircraft for handling about 200 peak hour passengers.

Current Status & Location
The airport’s site (view on Google Maps) is located north-east of Ballari. As of February 2022, a boundary wall has been constructed around the airport.
