Nagpur – Goa Expressway – Information & Status
760 km Nagpur – Goa Expressway (Shaktipeeth Expressway) by MSRDC is a proposed 6 lane access-controlled highway with a route alignment in Maharashtra.
The project will connect Pavnar (near Wardha) and Patradevi (Pernem Taluk) and provide access to pilgrimage sites in Vidarbha – Marathwada – Western Maharashtra – Goa.
The project was first announced by Devendra Fadnavis in September 2022. Shortly after MSRDC in October 2022 invited tenders for appointing a Consultant to prepare its feasibility study report, detailed project report (DPR) and assistance with land acquisition.
Nagpur – Goa Expressway will be connected to the under construction 701 km Samruddhi Mahamarg (Mumbai – Nagpur Expressway) in Wardha, just south of Nagpur.
The expressway is expected to reduce travel time between Nagpur and Goa to about 7 hours from the current 21 hour journey.

Current Status
In October 2022, MSRDC invited tenders for appointing a Consultant to prepare its feasibility study report, detailed project report (DPR) and provide assistance with land acquisition. In January 2023, MSRDC received 3 bids.
