Pune – Nashik Expressway – Information & Status
180 km Pune – Nashik Industrial Expressway by MSRDC is a proposed 6 lane access-controlled highway with a route alignment in western Maharashtra.
This greenfield expressway’s Detailed Project Report (DPR) has not yet been prepared or finalized. Land acquisition has not yet started either.
In October 2022, MSRDC invited tenders for the preparation of a Feasibility Study Report, Detailed Project Report (DPR) and assistance in land acquisition.
The expressway will connect MSRDC’s proposed Pune Ring Road project (near Chimbali) and Shinde (on NH-60). Along the way it will be connected to the under construction 701 km Samruddhi Mahamarg (Mumbai – Nagpur Expressway).
The expressway is expected to reduce travel time between Nashik and Pune to 2 hours from the current 4-5 hour journey.
