Odisha Capital Region Ring Road – Information & Status
110.87 km Odisha Capital Region Ring Road (CRRR) project by NHAI is an approved 6 lane access-controlled highway around Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, Odisha.
This 6 lane expressway will connect Rameswar in Khurda district with Tangi, with an aim to allow vehicles on national highway NH-16 to bypass Khordha town, Bhubaneswar, Athagarh town, Cuttack & Choudwar town.
CRRR’s alignment was finalized in April 2021. Land acquisition started in June 2022.. The project’s Detailed Project Report (DPR) is unavailable. Its foundation stone has not yet been laid.

NHAI started inviting tenders (bids) for CRRR’s construction works in October 2022 with a 2 year construction deadline. Tenders were cancelled in July 2024. New tenders are expected to be invited soon.
