Patna – Kolkata Expressway – Information & Status
450 km Patna – Kolkata Expressway by NHAI is a proposed 6 lane access-controlled highway with a route alignment through Bihar and West Bengal.
This greenfield expressway under Bharatmala Pariyojna (BMP) Phase 2 will serve as a faster alternative to the old congested National Highway NH-2. Land acquisition for the project through 6 districts in Bihar has not yet started.
