Tharad – Ahmedabad Expressway – Information & Status Update
213.803 km Tharad – Ahmedabad Expressway by NHAI is an approved 6/8 lane access-controlled highway with a route alignment entirely in Gujarat state.
This greenfield expressway will be developed under Bharatmala Pariyojna (BMP). The project’s feasibility report and Detailed Project Report (DPR) was prepared by Intercontinental Consultants and Technocrats Private Limited (ICT). Land acquisition for the project is underway.

Route Map
This expressway will connect the under construction Amritsar – Jamnagar Economic Corridor at Tharad, close to the Gujarat – Rajasthan border, with the operational Ahmedabad – Vadodara Expressway south of Ahmedabad city.

Land acquisition is underway. Tenders for the construction of 3 packages were invited in October 2022 and cancelled in November 2023.
