October 2015 – Kochi’s Metro Taking Shape
Here are some new images of Kochi’s 25.6 km line taking shape. Most of these have been shot in north Kochi and form a part of the ‘priority’ or ‘Reach 1’ section of the line from Aluva to Maharaja’s College. While the viaduct work is largely complete, the contractor of the line, Larsen & Toubro, is concentrating on getting the stations ready.
