[Pics] Gujarat CM Inspects Ahmedabad Metro’s East-West Line

Yesterday evening, Gujarat’s Chief Minister Anandiben Patel inspected the progress of the 6 km Vastral Gam to Apparel Park section of the metro’s 20.536 km east-west line and with that some nice new images have emerged! This section of the line is under construction by J Kumar Infraprojects and recently a second launching gantry was setup & commissioned to build its viaduct.

Bids to procure 96 coaches for the 1st phase of the system were recently opened on May 25 and BEML’s name has been doing the rounds. Once the OEM supplier’s name is confirmed, I’ll make sure to write about it, so stay tuned!
