L&T Pours First Concrete for Bangalore Metro’s Shivajinagar Station
Workers and engineers from Larsen & Toubro on Thursday night celebrated the first major concrete pour at Shivajinagar Station of the 73.92 km Bangalore Metro Phase 2 project.
This station-level major milestone involved pouring about 1000 cubic meters of concrete to build Shivajinagar’s base slab – the very bottom level of this station on package RT-02 of the city’s new 21.386 km Line-4 (Reach 6 / Pink Line).
This station is where CRCHI TBM Avni’s parts will be lowered in the coming weeks to build tunnels towards Vellara Junction through MG Road Station.
