TYPSA-Italferr JV Wins Kanpur & Agra Metro’s General Consultancy

Technica Y Projectos, S.A. – Italferr S.P.A JV today won the General Consultant (GC) contract to assist Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC) with the execution of the 32.385 km Kanpur Metro and 29.40 km Agra Metro‘s phase 1 projects.
Tenders/bids for the projects’ General Consultant service were invited in December 2019 under contract KNPAGGC-01, and prequalification documents & technical bids were opened on March 13 to reveal two bidders.
Per the tender rules, after the shortlisting process, the consultant was to be selected under QCBS (Quality cum Cost Based Selection) process with 80% and 20% weights for their technical proposal and financial proposal respectively.

Construction for Kanpur Metro’s 8.728 km priority corridor (IIT – Motijheel) of Line-1 started in November 2019 while bids for Agra Metro’s construction work are yet to be invited.
When the General Consultant contract is awarded, the appointment of a dedicated consultant is expected to pave the way for both projects’ speedy implementation through assistance in design, supervision, safety, quality control, tender and contract management.

Any info what happened to Consultancy tender which was awarded to Tata Consulting Engineers Limited and 3TI Progetti Italia in sep 2019 for agra metro ?
That was awarded for Agra Metro Line-1’s detailed design consultant (DDC) contract. Consultants are onboard and working with UPMRCL.

General Consultancy work has already been awarded, and it seems that construction work is already on in Kanpur Metro. Is there any Idea when mobization of the team of GC is going to happen?.
Nope, but I imagine it’ll start soon if not already.

Pls no one try to this general consultant post.already me worked in this post .full stress.24 hours duty.suppose you feel your health not well to take leave means kanpur metro members not allowed to take leave.pls on one try to this post.festivals celebrations no that time pushed to come to work .normally office time morning 9am to evening 6pm but normal work morning 9 am to next day morning 1 am .routinely u followed this time creat unhealthiness .creat any heart problems so pls u get crore salary from this work don’t try because lot of mental torcher is there.money does not a matter.
