New Construction Images of Gurgaon Metro’s 7 Km Southern Extension
Here are some recent assorted construction images of Gurgaon Metro’s 7 km southern extension to Sectors 55-56! The Rapid Metro Rail Gurgaon (RMRG) project is easily the most under-reported metro project in the country, so it’s always good to come across & post new images that demonstrates its progress 🙂
Gurgaon Metro’s sole operational line is currently 5.1 km long (represented by black stars below) and intersects the Delhi Metro’s Yellow line (represented by the purple stars) at the Sikanderpur station. From Sikanderpur, IL&FS Engineering is construction a 7 km southern extension which include stations at DLF Phase 1, Sushant Lok, Sector 42 crossing, Sector 53-54, AIT Crossing and Sector 55-56 as shown below:
