L&T Metro has finally updated their website (link) with details on the progress made by them on Hyderabad’s new 71.69 km long metro system. The progress made is not only encouraging but impressive for a system of this size.

Pier Foundations
Complete: 1936/2748 (70.45 %)
Distance: Laid for 50.66 kms
Piers Completed
Complete: 1824/2748 (66.38%)
Distance: Completed for 47.74 km
Span Erection
Complete: N/A
Distance: Erected for 39.02 km
Segments Cast
Complete: 19095/28000 (68.20%)
