Metro Line to ‘Noida extn’ to be an Extension of Noida – Gr. Noida Line

A couple weeks back, after it was announced that the DPR for a metro line to Noida Extension/Greater Noida’s Knowledge Park V was ready, it wasn’t immediately clear if this line would be an extension of the Delhi Metro’s Blue line OR an extension of the Noida-Greater Noida line. To give you gentleman a clearer picture of the possibilities, I had drawn the route of both scenarios here: DPR For Metro Line to Noida Extension Ready and then patiently staked out to find out more.

Now according to a new map available at NMRC’s website, this line (shown in red below) is confirmed to be an extension of the Noida-Greater Noida line! See:

Well I guess that solves that mystery! Whenever this line is built, it would form another step towards creating a loop in the Noida-Gr.Noida region. See:
