[Pics] Ahmedabad Metro’s East-West Line Taking Shape on Vastral Road

The rebar for the first couple of piers to support Ahmedabad Metro’s elevated viaduct is up at multiple locations! The following images were shot at Vastral Gam near the Sardar Patel Ring Road and show the initial 6 km stretch from Vastral Gam to Apparel Park in the eastern part of the city. The Rs 278.12 crore contract for this section (excluding the stations) was awarded to J Kumar Infra earlier this year in January.

Enjoy!
