New Images of Kochi Metro’s Line & Station at Aluva

Here’s a post with new images of the 25.6 km Kochi Metro’s line passing through the neighborhood of Aluva (formerly Alwaye) in the northern part of the city. This area is one of the many industrial hubs of the region  and also where the Travancore royal family’s Alwaye Palace is located.

The under construction station here will serve as the line’s northern terminal until the line is extended further up to the Airport at Nedumbassery. If you’re not familiar with Kochi’s geography, then you may use this map to see where the Alwaye station is located.
