AYESA-KRNA-Aarvee-Geodata JV Appointed as General Consultant for Lucknow Metro

It’s official. The Joint Venture between AYESA, Korea Rail Network Authority (KRNA), Aarvee Associates and Geodata India has been appointed as the General Consultant (GC) for the 8.3 km Phase 1A of Lucknow’s Metro project from Transport Nagar to Charbagh.  They beat 2 other JV contenders comprising of Egis Rail-AECOM Asia-Egis India and OCG-RITES-DBI to win the deal. The GC’s role would include managing contracts & supervising the overall construction of the project.

The process to find a General Consultant began in July 2015 after which a pre-bid meeting was held with interested companies. In November, the Lucknow Metro Rail Corp had announced that OCG-RITES-DBI had not qualified through the technical evaluation phase and they will proceed with opening the financial bids for the other two JVs in December.
