[Pics] Kochi’s Metro Line Taking Shape at Kaloor & Shenoys
Here are some new images of the 25.6 km Kochi Metro’s under construction viaduct on Banerji Road in Kaloor and on MG Road in the Shenoys area! The line here passes through the heart of the city and is under construction by Larsen & Toubro. If you’re not familiar with Kochi’s geography, then you may use this map to see where Kaloor station is located.

Compared to the rest of the line, work over here and south of it is going on at a slower pace than expected. At such, the initial launch of the line in late 2016 will only include the initial 13 km from Aluva – Palarivattom. The rest of it from Palarivattom to Vyttila is expected to open in 2017.
