13 Bidders for Delhi Dehradun Expressway Phase 1’s Package 1
13 construction firms have submitted bids to construct Package 1 of the 210 km Delhi – Dehradun Expressway‘s Phase 1 after National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) opened technical bids on June 4.
This 6 lane greenfield expressway is being developed in 4 phases. Back in December 2020, financial bids for its 32 km Phase 1 (Akshardham in Delhi to Eastern Peripheral Expressway) were opened in December 2020 to reveal Gammon India and Gayatri Projects as the lowest bidders for its two packages.
While Gayatri has started work on the 16.85 km Package 2 (Delhi/UP Border to EPE Junction), NHAI in April canceled and re-invited bids for the 14.75 km Package 1 (Akshardham to Delhi-UP Border).

Brief Scope: Development of six lane access control greenfield highway of Delhi-Saharanpur-Dehradun EC under BMP from Design Chainage 0.000 (Aksardham NH-9 (old NH-24)) to Design Chainage 14.750 (Delhi-UP Border) in the state of Delhi (Package-1) on EPC mode
The bids have now been sent for technical bid evaluation which can take a couple months to complete. When that is done, the financial bids of the technically qualified bidders will be opened to reveal who’s the lowest bidder and most likely contractor for each package.
In related news, I hear Krishna Constructions is the lowest bidder for the 119 km Phase 2’s Packages 1 and 4 in Uttar Pradesh. Back in March, 26 firms had submitted 43 bids for it. If anyone has detailed financial results, drop a comment below or send me a message here.
Details on this expressway along with a list of all packages and their status can be viewed here.

Hi sir did you get the bidders list of Bangalore metro’s pink line? Waiting for your post.
Still don’t have a list. I’m curious to see who bids. ITD would surely be one of them.
