6 Bidders for Raipur – Vizag Expressway’s Package CG3

6 construction firms have submitted bids to construct 25.16 km package CG3 of the 464 km Raipur – Visakhapatnam Economic Corridor (NH-130CD & EC-15), also known as Raipur – Vizag Expressway.

This new six-lane highway will have a few sections that are access-controlled with a greenfield alignment connecting the states of Chhattisgarh, Odisha and Andhra Pradesh.

Package CG-3 is the 3rd and final section within Chhattisgarh, and will connect Basanwahi – Marangpuri from chainage km 99.500 to km 124.661.

National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) invited tenders for its construction in January 2022 with a 2 year deadline and Rs. 1127.33 crore estimate. Technical bids were opened on Monday.

• Dineshchandra R Agrawal Infracon Pvt. Ltd.
• G R Infraprojects Ltd.
• KMV Projects Ltd.
• Max Infra (I) Ltd.
• Megha Engineering and Infrastructures Ltd.

Brief Scope: Development of Six Lane Basanwahi Marangpuri Section of NH130CD Road from km 99.500 to km 124.661 under Raipur Visakhapatnam EC in the state of Chhattisgarh on HAM (Package CG3)

The bids have now been sent for technical bid evaluation which can take a couple months to complete. When that is done, the financial bids of the technically qualified bidders will be opened to reveal who’s the lowest bidder and most likely contractor.
