As a reminder, work on the stretch just south of where this double viaduct will be built is underway. Nagarjuna Constructions was handed over the contract to construct the initial 4.5 km section from Khapri to the Airport  as part of the 19.66 km north-south line. The contract to Nagarjuna includes one big and two small bridges, a station at the airport and a depot at Khapri. The line here will run at-grade (ground-level).
