[Pics] Kochi Metro’s Kalamassery Station – October Update
Here’s a post with new images shot recently at the upcoming Kalamassery station on Kochi Metro’s 25.6 km line. The station was constructed by Larsen & Toubro and trial runs to it began in March 2016 from the Muttom Depot. After civil works were completed in June, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation handed this station & the CUSAT station over to the Kochi Metro Rail Ltd. who then appointed its own set of contractors to complete finishing works with a targeted opening of April 2017.
The interior & exterior design theme of the station was unveiled by KMRL in December 2015 and will revolve around the Western Ghats’ landscape & flora – check out 7 renderings how it’ll end up looking once complete.

The signage color scheme looks really good. I thought the coaches would have the same too but its different.
