Bids Invited for Delhi – Meerut RRTS’ TVS, ECS, Elevators & Escalators
National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) today and over the past week invited bids for the commissioning of the tunnel ventilation system (TVS), environmental control system (ECS), elevators and escalators on the 82.15 km Delhi – Meerut RRTS line.
The procurement of these key systems, as part of Packages 21, 22 and 23, will be financed by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB).
They are among the last few major systems-related contracts that need to be tendered out for installation on this semi high-speed rail line where Bombardier trains will run at a top speed of 160 kmph through 22 stations.

The four underground stations mentioned in the tender notice will be located at Anand Vihar within Delhi, and at Meerut Central, Bhaisali and Begumpul in Meerut – view route map.
With this development, if I’m not mistaken – only one tender notice is now pending for the Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) System. Here’s the status of the Delhi – Meerut RRTS line’s major systems related contracts:
