Larsen & Toubro recorded another major construction milestone today by starting piling works at Rayka Village near Vadodara for the 87.569 km Package C6 of the 508.17 km Mumbai – Ahmedabad High Speed Rail (MAHSR Bullet Train).
Package C6 from chainage 401.898 to 489.467 is the third longest package of the entire line, and connects Vadodara with Ahmedabad through one station and a minor depot at Anand-Nadiad.
L&T is chasing a 1,370 days (3.75 years) completion deadline here.
With this development, construction is now underway on two packages – C4 and C6 – which represents roughly 324.6 km or 63.89% of the entire line.
A list of all bullet train civil packages and their status can be viewed here.
