Ceigall India and Evrascon-MKCIL today emerged as the lowest bidders for constructing packages 7 and 8 of the roughly 650 km Delhi – Amritsar – Katra (DAK) Expressway after National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) opened financial bids.

Phase 1 involves the construction of a 397.7 km greenfield expressway between Delhi – Ludhiana – Gurdaspur and a 99 km spur connecting Nakodar – Amritsar.

NHAI had invited bids for the civil construction of these 2 packages in November 2020 with a 2 year deadline. Both are located in south-central Punjab’s Sangrur and Ludhiana districts.
