4 Bidders for Imphal Airport’s New Terminal Contract

Four construction firms have submitted bids for the new integrated terminal building of Imphal International Airport in Manipur after Airports Authority of India (AAI) opened technical bids today.

The project includes the construction of a new terminal building of area 28,125 sqm to handle 1200 peak hour passengers (200 international & 1000 domestic), apron with 8 parking bays for A321 type narrow-body aircraft, 2 link taixways of 144m x 23m, and an air traffic control (ATC) tower.

AAI invited tenders for their construction work in February 2022 with a Rs. 331.80 crore estimate and 730 day (2 year) completion deadline.

  • Dee Vee Projects Ltd.
  • Dineshchandra R Agrawal Infracon Pvt. Ltd.
  • Ram Kripal Singh Construction Pvt. Ltd.
  • Yashnand Engineers and Contractors Pvt. Ltd.

Brief Scope: Construction of New Integrated Terminal Building, Apron, Link Taxiways, Control Tower Cum Technical Block etc. at Imphal International Airport, Imphal (Manipur) India.

The bids have now been sent for technical evaluation which can take a couple months to complete. When that is done, the financial bids of the technically qualified bidders will be opened to reveal who’s the lowest bidder and most likely contractor.
