SYSTRA-AECOM JV Wins Delhi – Alwar RRTS’ Design Consultancy Bid

A consortium of SYSTRA MVA Consulting (India) Pvt. Ltd. – AECOM India Pvt. Ltd. on Tuesday emerged as the lowest bidder for the Detailed Design Consultant (DDC) contract of a 62 km section from Kherki Daula Toll Plaza to SNB (Shahjahanpur – Neemrana – Behrod) of the 164 km Delhi – SNB – Alwar RRTS line.

NCRTC invited bids for this service in January 2020 and opened technical bids in June to reveal 4 bidders. The assigned contractor is expected to be onboard for 36 months during which designs for the stabling lines at Manesar, main depot & workshop at Dharuhera, the line’s 62 km viaduct, and 7 elevated stations enroute will be prepared. In addition, detailed planning will be performed for the 5 underground stations (INA, Munirka, Aerocity, Kherki Daula, Manesar) within Delhi and Haryana.

Scope: Engagement of Detailed Design Consultant (DDC) for Civil, Architectural and E&M Works for the design of Seven elevated stations (Panchgaon, Bilaspur, Dharuhera, MBIR, Rewari, Bawal & SNB) , One Depot at Dharuhera, stabling lines at Manesar and elevated viaduct from Kherki daula Toll Plaza to SNB (62 Km) and detailed planning of proposed five underground stations for Sarai Kale Khan (SKK) – SNB RRTS Corridor.

The seven stations whose detailed designs will be prepared will be located alongside NH-48 at Panchgaon, Bilaspur, Dharuhera, MBIR, Rewari, Bawal and SNB –

Back in February, Larsen & Toubro Infrastructure Engineering Ltd. was awarded with the DDC contract for the section immediately north of this in Gurgaon, with 3 stations at Udyog Vihar, Sector-17 and Rajiv Chowk. GR Infraprojects emerged as the lowest bidder for its civil construction in April, but I haven’t so far seen any images or reports of work commencing.
