National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) today opened bids from design engineering firms to reveal that 4 firms had applied for the Detailed Design Consultant (DDC) contract of 7 stations and the Dharuhera Depot of the 106 km Delhi – SNB (Shahjahanpur – Neemrana – Behrod) RRTS line.
NCRTC invited bids for this service in January 2020 and expects the assigned DDC to be onboard for 36 months during which designs for the stabling lines at Manesar, the line’s viaduct from Kherki Daula to SNB (roughly 62 km) and 5 underground stations (INA, Munirka, Aerocity, Kherki Daula, Manesar) will also be prepared.

The seven stations whose detailed designs will be prepared will be located alongside NH-48 at Panchgaon, Bilaspur, Dharuhera, MBIR, Rewari, Bawal and SNB –
Scope: Engagement of Detailed Design Consultant (DDC) for Civil, Architectural and E&M Works for the design of Seven elevated stations (Panchgaon, Bilaspur, Dharuhera, MBIR, Rewari, Bawal & SNB) , One Depot at Dharuhera, stabling lines at Manesar and elevated viaduct from Kherki daula Toll Plaza to SNB (62 Km) and detailed planning of proposed five underground stations for Sarai Kale Khan (SKK) – SNB RRTS Corridor.
Back in February, Larsen & Toubro Infrastructure Engineering Ltd. was awarded with the DDC contract for the section immediately north of this in Gurgaon, with 3 stations at Udyog Vihar, Sector-17 and Rajiv Chowk. GR Infraprojects emerged as the lowest bidder for its civil construction in April.
