SYSTRA-RITES-DB JV Wins Hyderabad Metro Airport Line’s General Consultant Contract

SYSTRA – RITES – DB Engineering JV has been declared as the preferred bidder for the General Consultant (GC) contract of Hyderabad Metro’s 31 km Airport Express Line.

This semi high-speed rail line will connect Mindspace Junction with Rajiv Gandhi International Airport via 10 stations and be developed under Hyderabad Metro’s Phase 2 project by Hyderabad Airport Metro Ltd (HAML).

Per HAML’s MD’s tweet last night, SYSTRA – RITES – DB consortium recorded the highest technical score and also placed the lowest financial bid at Rs. 98.54 crore to beat 4 other consortia for the GC contract.

HAML had invited expression of interest (EOI cum RfQ) in December 2022 with a 36 month assignment period which received applications from 5 consortia. In January 2023, the same 5 bidders were invited to submit bids in the the RfP (Request for Participation) round.

I don’t have technical scores, financial bid values or final total scores of all bidders. If someone does, then leave a comment below or shoot me a message via the Contact page. I’d like to add it in here for record keeping.

What is the actual route for this new airport metro as there is no open space or from raidurgam to bio diversity circle. Also if they move the metro connectivity towards right-side of IKEA there we have all Residencial societies and school, not sure how they will connect raigduragm to biodiversity/khajaguda lake.
