From the description, looks like the trains of Line-6 which used to be stabled in Sarita Vihar, would be stabled in this extended depot. The Sarita Vihar Depot looks like would be repurposed for Tughlakabad Line primarily.
In short, Sarita Vihar Depot will no more serving the Violet Line in Future. Sarita vihar Depot will be upgraded from back dated signalling system to Modern CBTC signalling system,It will be dedicated only for Aerocity-Tugalakabad Corridor. Just like Banglore Metro’s Bayapanahalli Depot which currently serves Purple Line, but later this depot will be use by their Airport Blue Line.
