J Kumar’s tunneling plan for S111 remains unknown to me, but that should be somewhat clear in the next 2 months. They’ve already deployed 2 refurbished machines from Mumbai Metro’s Line-3 at Kishangarh Station towards Vasant Kunj: TBM S63B (Sonakshi) and TBM S64B (Shalini).

    Hi TMRG,

Silver line construction is so slow. At present, in Aug 2023, TBM is just passing factory acceptance test.
Due you think at such speed DMRC is able to complete silver line by their revised timelines March 2026.
It seems, at such slow pace dmrc may not able to complete silver line by 2030.

Hi, tunneling has started across all packages, but we’re just in the initial stage. Let’s see what challenges show up as the Aravalis aren’t fun to dig through. March 2026 completion will definitely not be achieved.
