The upcoming 700 km Pune – Bangalore Expressway project by National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) will have its northern terminal at Pune Ring Road.
Technical evaluation is not required in this round as that’s what the RfQ round was for. Financial bids will most likely be opened only after the Lok Sabha election’s model code of conduct ends. Stay tuned to see who wins each package!
MSRDC on Thursday also opened bids for 179.85 km Jalna – Nanded Expressway and 126 km Virar-Alibaug Multi-Modal Corridor projects. Check out each link to see bidder and package information.

Good to hear with ring route concept traffic issues & Problems will ease out
Along with this, Pune needs a northern ring road also. That would split the traffic coming in to Chakan towards east and west parts of pune. As of now if you are coming to Pune from Nashik in the evenong, you reach Rajgurunagar very smoothly, and then the traffic kills as Chakan starts.
Nashik Phata to chakan Metro Line is the solution
Badly required for a metro city like Pune.
