Technical evaluation is not required in this round as that’s what the RfQ round was for. Financial bids will most likely be opened only after the Lok Sabha election’s model code of conduct ends. Stay tuned to see who wins each package!

MSRDC on Thursday also opened bids for 179.85 km Jalna – Nanded Expressway and 136.80 km Pune Ring Road projects. Check out each link to see bidder and package information.

Destroying eco system on the name of development. Huge loss to konkan forest and wildlife. Go out of green zone, there is lots of baren land in India that need development.

That would defeat the purpose of building it near Mumbai as the whole point is to boost economic growth and reduce logistics cost in the greater Mumbai area.

People who believe this must first move out of MMR and start living in trees with minimal needs. Otherwise such namesake enviornmentalists are found in dozens for a dime !

The ecosystem damage is directly proportional to population. show any place in world where modern, developed, comfortable city exist without touching nature

Even smaller cities like bangalore/hyderabad/chennai already have broad Ring Roads, while here, Mumbai and Pune is yet to get one. It’s a crying shame as far as road planning goes.

You are correct. Is there any update on much delayed East West connector Vikhroli – Ghansoli link road bridge which was earlier in the design stage by N P Bridging of Belgium?
It’s a shame if such projects are shelved by the authorities and Government.

Recently i was driving on new roads constructed.
Design and Engineering needs a big change.
Roads are having too much of curvatures and because of this at designed speed while driving it gives too much discomfort.
When we are designing new highways and high speeds then we have to eliminate curvatures .
I understand Implementation agency finds lot of difficulty in acquiring land for roads construction.Still we need to do justice on investments.
