3 Bidders for UPMRC Metro Bhawan’s Construction in Lucknow

UPMRC is currently headquartered at a small 3 storey building in Ambedkar Park. With 3 operational metro systems (Lucknow, Kanpur & Agra) and more in the pipeline, the operator needed more office space and will be will be moving into a brand new building located near Lucknow Metro’s Sachivalaya Station.
The new headquarters will also house Lucknow Metro’s Operational Control Centre (OCC) to manage train operations on 22.8 km Line-1 connecting Lucknow CCS Airport – Munshi Pulia.
UPMRC had invited bids for the building’s construction in March 2024 with a Rs. 120.80 crore estimate and 600 day deadline. Technical bids were opened on May 29.

why all metro offices look like typical office buildings?
someone should make an office looking like metro rolling stock
Please No, these are headquarters of a “Corporation” hence they should be built like it’s a corporate headquarters let it be not some short museum or exhibition building. Not everytime a building should reflect if it’s made for medical, railway or anything.
