YFC Bids for Delhi Metro Green Line Extension’s Contract D2C-01
YFC Projects in May-end was declared as the only bidder for the civil construction contract D2C-01 of Delhi Metro Green Line’s extension connecting Inderlok – Indraprastha via 10 metro stations.
Delhi Metro’s new 12.377 km extension of the Green Line (Line-5) under the Phase 4 project will consist of a 11.349 km underground route and 1.028 km elevated route. Package D2C-01 involves the construction of its elevated viaduct, Inderlok Station’s new station box and a 74.012m ramp leading to the underground section’s twin tunnels.
This new extension of the Green Line involves part demolition and abandonment of the line’s existing viaduct and station box at Inderlok Station built in Delhi Metro’s Phase 2 project.
DMRC had invited bids for D2C-01, the only elevated contract of the line, in April 2025 with a Rs. 117.16 crore estimate and 960 days (2.6 years) deadline.
Brief Scope: Design and Construction of elevated viaduct, ramp from chainage CH – 514.012 to CH- 440.000 and one elevated station including AFP and Pre-engineered steel roof structure and roof sheeting works of Delhi MRTS Phase-IV project.

It’s been a month since YFC’s technical bid was opened, and the tender hasn’t been cancelled yet, so it appears that DMRC is satisfied with the low turnout and is evaluating YFC’s bid for the next steps in the process.
Long way to go but if eventually awarded, this will be YFC’s second major contract in the Phase 4 project after elevated Package DC-04 (Saket G Block – Sangam Vihar) on the Golden Line. I’m curious to see how the DMRC navigates this extension’s construction, hopefully there will be minimal interruption to existing services.

Golden line progress is very slow. Is this the same contracter that is constructing that part of Golden line ?
Yes
YFC is the worst dmrc contractor in the history of all dmrc phase. Don’t understand why YFC hasn’t been blacklisted yet for its pathetic and super slow work on elevated section of golden line.
Literally, YFC needs years to make pillers. Understand there were issues of land acquisition at one place. But rest of the work can’t be halted on that pretext.
Also, not seen workers working on the site.
YFC company is the most worst company, DMRC do not mistake again trust this company.
Right sir, YFC company is a worst.
YFC should not be mixed with any project of Delhi Metro.not allowed of YFC by dmrc
One more thing… They included Jhandewalan station and dropped LNJP Hospital…which I think is correct
