I expect the construction activities to pickup pace in the coming months for the 3 RRTS corridors.
Hi, for the Panipat line, there’s still a still a long way to go – more than 1.5 years I’d say. The DPR for that line still needs approval from the state governments before NCRTC starts tendering for any kind of pre-construction geotechnical investigation or pile load tests.
I’m super excited about the other 2 lines’s dev works picking up pace!
Which State govt is yet to approve it? Delhi or Haryana. And is there any news/update on other proposed Rapid Rail lines like Delhi – Rohtak or Delhi – Palwal.
Both governments. Haryana govt has approved the preparation/revision of its DPR to include an extension to Karnal, but the actual project hasn’t been approved.
Other RRTS lines will be taken up in Phase 2. I believe there’s at least 4 years to go before any serious pre-construction work begins.
I think is 11 km viaduct construction.
Project viaduct upto new ashok nagar ramp .45 Sarai kale khane and Anand vihar 12.54 chainage
Hi, Ashok Nagar – Anand Vihar section is part of Package 4 which is roughly 5.6 km.
I haven’t seen chainage figures for Sarai Kale Khan – New Ashok Nagar Ramp, but using Google Maps’ distance estimation tool by following its tentative alignment, distance comes out between 4.2 – 4.5 km.
