  2. nisanth pavalur says:

hey tmrg ! seems like CMRL are in full flow by calling for tenders..only two more stretches left in the whole of phase 2.. when do you expect the actual construction to start for the elevated section power house to porur ?

  3. nisanth pavalur says:

hey TMRG ! the tender notice for nehru nagar – sholinganallur is also updated..please check the CMRL website .. great news..

    Hi TMRG,

When we search “Chennai Metro” in google under news
Why the TMRG pages are not coming as result?
    Any specific SEO reason?

    • TMRG says:

I haven’t registered it as a Google News site. They have a set of requirements including publishing names/addresses etc.

  5. Arun says:

    Sir..kindly please consider Ambattur,Avadi areas..for v are eagerly waiting….

  6. Raj says:

    Hi TMRG,

Is there any link or map available which shows the near accurate / approx. Location of stations in google map. If so, can you share with us.

  7. M.Ramanathan says:

No benefits for Southern Suburbs people. It will take another 10 or more years to come beyond Airport to Kilambakkam or Irubuliyur Line. Still, govt is in confusion regarding Airport -Kilambakkam line, due to over bridges in these stretches. It is still in DPR stage, no improvement too. In Dinamalar paper Chennai Edition they mentioned its sorry stage of its project!!! So, no use of reading your metro rail news.!!! Perhaps, unless if CMRL, start its project before elections come true.Sorry!!!!

    • Kalidas says:

True Sir! The speed at which the road bridges are being constructed, Metro may take more than a Decade unlike New Delhi. No coordination.
The line upto Airport should have been extended upto Kilambakkam before construction of Pallavaram Flyover. This shows how intelligent are the engineers of the state dept. & politicians.
      Sad state of affairs

  8. Prashanth says:

Poonamallee bypass metro station can b built in such a way tat it provides easy access for people alighting frm MTC on ORR…

  9. Prashanth says:

Karayanchavadi station can b renamed as Avadi road metro…

  10. D. Manevannan says:

I was suggesting CMRL to connect metro line from Velachery to St.Thomas Mount and another one connecting Tiruvanmiyur, it will serve I. T employee and the public, more over there is plenty of vacant land for expansion.
